Sports Round-Up

On the day that Kare Adenegan looks to better her excellent second place in the 2013 London Mini Marathon wheelchair race, today we round up a number of excellent team and individual sporting achievements that have come into the newsroom over the last couple of weeks.

Well done to:

Individuals:

• Jack Green- U13 Warwickshire School's Table Tennis champion and will represent Warwickshire this month.
• Rory Kenney-Herbert- captain of the U16 Warwickshire Hockey team that has won its regional championship.
• Lucinda Roche- fantastic further equestrian success, she has been chosen to represent Ireland at the Nations Cup later this year.
• Lucas Williams- 6th in the national U14 backstroke rankings, he has qualified for July's National Swimming Age-Group Championships in the 200m backstroke.

Teams:

• U15 and U14 XVs- Coventry Schools rugby champions.
• U13 and U12 XVs- Coventry Schools rugby runners-up.
