Dynamic New Team Of Journalists

With the 2014-15 edition of our nationally nominated magazine 'The Wheatleyan' about to move to its proofing stage, a new team of talented young Sixth Form journalists has already been established by Head of Careers and Staff Editor Mr Mark Woodward.

Initial meetings with Jasmine Shankster-East (Editor) and Lauren Putnam (Deputy Editor) have already proved very productive. Watching over the final stages of this year's issue has offered invaluable experience and work has already started on planning the content for our 2015-16 edition.

Assisting Jasmine and Lauren will be the following students:

• Beyond the Classroom: Hannah Allroggen, Beth Carter and Will Rowland.
• Flair: Art - Minnie Klesnik-Edwards and Josh Thind; Literature - Lantian Pinkney and David Stephen.
• Performing Arts: Hannah Jewkes, Shivani Patel and Harry Vincent.
• Sport: Megan McElligott, Danny O'Malley, Cameron Park and Danika Patel.
• Former Pupils: Ashni Hindocha, Georgia Kelsey and Vikesh Puri.
• Photography: Beth McCormick and Claudia Youakim.
• Business and Marketing: Lily Seery, Sam Siddhu and Jody Wong.

Another group of students will spend the final week of the Summer term gaining a taste of journalism while working on our award-winning student magazine, 'Stretch'. Megan Lloyd will be leading this team and those Lower Sixth students keen on being involved should register their interest with her or talk to Mr Mark Woodward.
