Drama Showcase

The second half of Autumn term started with a celebration of work with our Year 9-11 Theatre pupils, as they shared their devised performances with one another.

The breadth of creative interpretation was highly impressive, with the same starting points resulting in very different styles of performance - including a Brechtian fairytale reality, and Berkovian animalistic greed.

It was wonderful to see the Year 9 performing for the first time, with so much promising talent and strong ensemble skills.

We are extremely lucky to work with such creative, resourceful and talented pupils at Bablake.
