Charity Round Up

A new month sees a new page on the 2014 Bablake Macmillan charity calendar and it features our drama- an especial highlight this month when our 6th formers will head to the world famous Edinburgh Fringe for the 28th consecutive year, to present an updated version of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'.

Next month we will reveal the 2013-14 charity cheque showing the exact amount of money raised for local, national and international charities. As we mentioned earlier in the holiday, we are delighted that the figure is once again in excess of £20k.

This figure was helped by money raised by events such as the successful end of term One Peace concert, our Senior Citizens' Summer Party, a Mud Run completed by a group of our U6th girls, £115 raised by Mr and Mrs Chowne and Nia Gripton-Crockford's CRY walk in memory of daughter Pippa, and Mr Woodward's Shave or Style for Macmillan (which raised £130).
