Progress With BBC Radio 2's 500 Words Competition

English Media

Has your son or daughter made it through to the next stage of BBC Radio 2's 2016 500 Words competition?

3 years ago we were congratulating Emma Blackett on surviving the first cut! Today we are able to congratulate Hattie Evans from our Senior School and Robbie Billings from the Junior School on hearing their stories have been chosen from over 123,400 entries to go forward as part of a group of 4,500 young writers whose work will now be judged by the Reading Agency.

We wish Hattie and Robbie the best of luck for being shortlisted for the Final 50.

Are there any other Bablake pupils whose stories have been kept in the final 4,500? Please let us know!
